The schedule now answers one question first: who needs a technician.
The old page put every feed import, at every venue, in the same red. This one keeps all of it, but folds the warranty venues away and leads with the events ANC actually staffs.
What the data said
Measured on the production database before touching the page. This is the week the redesign opens on.
242events in the next 7 days
50need a technician and have none
3staffed
189at warranty venues, no ANC staff needed
| Fact | Number | What it meant for the old page |
|---|---|---|
| Venues that require an assignment | 50 of 257 | Four in five rows were never ANC work, yet every one was painted Needs Staff. |
| Cards in the old week view | 231 | Saturday alone stacked 112 cards in one column. |
| Events with a workflow status other than pending, next 30 days | 1 of 1,777 | The Pending Workflow chip returned everything. |
| Rows from URL feeds vs AI discovery, next 30 days | 1,743 vs 7 | The URL badge on every row said nothing; the AI tag is the one that matters. |
| Suggested events waiting on a venue lead | 1,532 | Hidden behind the sixth chip. Now a count on the rail. |

What moved where
- Calendar / List toggle became a rail: Needs staff, Staffed, Warranty venues, All events, each with its count for the dates on screen.
- Today / Week / Month / All became Day / Week / Month / Upcoming with arrows to step, and a Back to today button when you have stepped away.
- Pending Workflow is gone as a filter. Staffed rows on and before today show their workflow progress inline instead.
- Suggested is its own section, grouped by venue, with the count on the rail and Add to schedule / Reject per row.
- Needs Staffing / Warranty Only chips are the rail. AI Imported / URL Feed chips are gone; AI-discovered rows carry a small tag.
- Venues picker and search stay on the toolbar, and every count on the rail follows them.
- Discovery tools, Discovery Logs, Delete All Events live under Import and discovery, managers only, delete admin only.
- Create Event opens a side panel instead of pushing the schedule down.
- The detail panel is untouched: click any row, resize it, assign, check in, post-game.
Every link into the page still lands where it says: the dashboard cards, the daily events email, and the venue lead's Slack ping open the same schedule and the same Suggested queue they always did.
The old layout is kept safe. If you want it back, say so and it is back the same day.
